Hectic orientation week

Hey guys, i'm finally back!!!!

so, pretty obvious that i've just done my 1st week in KMPh

ever wondered how's orientation week??
ever thought that orientation week is just free and easy??

here goes the updates~~~

Orientation Day 1 :

first impression on this matrics was 'gosh, the compound is really big. That means, lots of walking to do...'
After completing those pendaftaran stuff, me dad and mum proceeded to the asrama for the so-called 'official moving in ceremony' with our hands full of luggage and some daily necessities.
then, we did a mini gotong-royong since everything in the room was practically covered with dust. Seriously, there was this tiny winy thought of going home after looking at the room~~~
It took us really a looonng time cleaning and arranging stuff.....
so, foUr person in a room. For me, all my roommates are Malays.
There was this talk for new students about 8pm,
The day ended with me being quite mentally tired and missing my parents already~~~

Orientation Day 2&3 :

Woke up at about 3.30 every single day to avoid being jammed in the washroom. Gosh, now i suddenly realised the importance of sleep when i'm not getting enough of them~~~

With a short meeting at 5.30 and a senaman pagi later on, sleeping at around 1am is certainly NOT ENOUGH!!!

The day was packed with talks to in the morning till afternoon and night while evening was scheduled for 'riadah', which is exercise again......

Even after the night talk ending at around 11, the facilitators aka facis will keep us all front of the fello and sitting in the tar road. while giving some 'lectures', advises and also some scolding.....

Orientation Day 4 :

Was told to wear dark clothes for the evening jungle tracking. Well, literally, dark clothes=getting dirty+filthy.

As expected, all of us went through this knee length dirty water which was still acceptable...

But, imagine the look on our face when this really huge pond of MUD appeared out of nowhere. What the hell is a mud-pond doing in a jungle. Then, reality dawned upon us. The 'jungle tracking' was just an excuse. Their real 'intention' was to get us soak in mud!!!!

Very unwillingly, each of us stepped into this mud-pond which also has a knee-length depth. Well the 'welcome ceremony' doesn't end here. Those past year seniors were already in the pond, splashing mud all over us, wiping mud onto our face~~~
The end product?? A bunch of human-based mud monster was born~~~
To take over the earth?? nah.....
To make the hostel toilet really dirty?? a big yes!!!

Since those mud was the 'premium' quality ones, as in the texture is really thick, i can practically feel the skin on my face hardening.....oh, like doing a facial mask. Only you'll get this for free here...

Well, though it made us really dirty, the whole process was really enjoyable indeed. With screams and grumbles along the way. By the way, the guys got a hell more of it then us. They were 'instructed' to dip their whole body into the pool, like swimming. Imagine that??!!

Though the playing part was somehow enjoyable, the cleaning part was totally #%&*#@*......

Scrubbing the dried mud off our body, shirts and pants, even shoes was really super tiring!!!!
It's as if my hands are gonna get dislodge from my body anytime!!!
To make matter worst, the whole washing room was covered with mud too!!! And those mud stayed for a total of two days before the cleaning lady came.

Orientation Day 5 :

Woke up 10times more tired than usual. But luckily, no extreme activities today was planned for us today. I even slept when the ceramah was going on!!
Orientation week officially ended around 5pm with closing ceremony.

To all those seniors when took the trouble to come back specially to 'train' and guide us, a very big THANK YOU *hugs*
Though we might have hurt or disappoint you guys in anyway, well....i believe that forgiveness is already given right??

So, lectures starting officially next week!!!
And guess what?? I'm doing physics??!!!!

OMG!!!!

I feel super HOMESICK now man~~~
And i'm totally carving for Chonese food!!!!
